1943 1943 from Dissimula Edizioni of Italy.

This great little game caught my eye recently when it was reviewed on the Fun City Gaming blog on Boardgame Geek (link below). I know the two players and respect their opinions, so I took a chance and ordered six copies. As soon as I looked at them when they arrived, I grabbed a copy for myself, and a friend took one as well. Four copies survived to go on the site. This is a nice, small-format game with just 10 pages of rules (in a small booklet). It’s easy to learn, plays quickly, and takes up very little room on the table. And since it gets shipped from Italy to Canada, there are no tariffs!

1943 1945 review

At the end of 1942, with the operation TORCH large American forces poured into the Western Mediterranean. In a short time, thanks to their efforts, Italy was ousted from the conflict and the Allies returned to European continent, definitely arresting the expansion of the Axis. This game allows you to recreate events which took place in the following months and years, between 1943 and 1945, when this area became the epicenter of some of the most bloody battles of the WW2.
